Why create a Business Capacity Listing?

Simply put: People want to do business with you!

Major industrial developments are coming to the region, and the companies involved in these developments need your products and services. In fact, they have asked us to provide them with a list of the products, services, and businesses located here. It’s that simple: companies want to do business locally. The problem is they don’t know who is around to do business with, and presently there is no easy way of finding out. As a result we are developing the Business Capacity Listing, which will provide a user-friendly, searchable, and comprehensive listing to companies interested in our region.

What do you need from me?

The PIER team is presently contacting all businesses in the region, and strongly encourages the owner or manager of each to participate in this important project. We understand free moments can be hard to find in today’s business world; and, as such, we only ask for five minutes of your time. Furthermore, this public listing is stored and distributed at no cost to you, and a PIER membership is not required to be included on the BCL.

We need just some very basic information about the products and services that you provide, and how businesses can get in touch with you. It will take less than 5 minutes.

Why should I participate?

Well…because the BCL:

Provides this service at no charge;
Provides market exposure for your company;
Connects your business to thousands of others, which may lead to innovative and mutually beneficial partnerships with other businesses both within and outside of the region;
Will be used by major developers in the region as a local procurement listing;
